Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.- The music video “This is not America” by the Puerto Rican singer Residente, accompanied by the duet Ibeyi, which was filmed on location in Baja California, received a Latin Grammy nomination in the category of Best Short Music Video, as reported by Javier Espinoza Medina, from the Baja Film Commission of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI). This award ceremony will take place on November 17, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The music video had locations in Tijuana at Estadio Caliente, 6th Street, Casa de la Cultura, Humanitas University, and at the boardwalk and border fence in Playas de Tijuana.

The local crew was headed by the producer Barbarella Pardo and the direction was in charge of Greg Ohrel while the producer was Jason Cole. The filming took place in September 2021, and coordination with several agencies was required, including the Tijuana´s Secretary of Citizen Security.
