TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO.- Friday, February 28, 2020.- The Secretariat for Sustainable Economy and Tourism (SEST) through the UnderSecretariat for Tourism continues the training program organized by the Directorate of Cinematography with the RED Camera Practical Workshop by Felipe Mozqueda, from RED Digital Cinema, carried out in partnership with the Ingenia Creative production house and the Palacio Azteca Hotel.

According to an article published in January 2020 by the Y.M. Cinema Magazine, RED cameras are the most used during the recording of projects for platforms such as Netflix, which is why having internships with this equipment is of utmost importance for the preparation of the state's audiovisual community, said the head of the SEST, Mario Escobedo Carignan.

The topics for this free workshop aimed for cameramen, creators, filmmakers and students, were, types of cameras, sensors, resolution, REDCODE, RAW, exhibition tools, among others. Outreach was made through the official social networks of SEST, capacity for the event filled its quota of 40 people in less than 24 hours, the workshop concluded with an equipment practice around the hotel facilities. 

Felipe Mozqueda has worked at RED Digital Cinema in different areas such as, camera testing, engineering, research and development team; Currently he is dedicated to giving workshops and trainings with camera equipment in the United States and Latin America, including the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada; the Telemundo Cine Expo in Mexico City, and the Congo Films School in Bogotá, Colombia, among others.
