Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.- With a total attendance exceeding one hundred people, the series of workshops focused on business development for the audiovisual sector concluded successfully, a joint effort of the Baja California Film Commission and the Instituto Estatal del Emprendimiento de Baja California (IEMBC), both part of the Secretariat of Economy and Innovation (SEI). The in-person activities took place on June 8, 9, and 10 through the delivery of the workshop \"Business Model: Canvas Methodology,\" which was led by Prof. David Flores Fraga, coordinator of IEMBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The educational tour began on June 8th at CUT Universidad de Tijuana Campus Ensenada, aimed at students of the Bachelor's Degree in Film and Audiovisual Production; it continued on June 9th at the Faculty of Arts of UABC in Mexicali, where professors from various majors were trained; and culminated on June 10th by sharing these tools with students of various majors at Universidad de las Californias Internacional (UDCI) in the city of Tijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a complement to these workshops, a series of specialized webinars was held on June 10th. The virtual session began at 2:00 p.m. with the topic \"First Time at SAT: Formalize Your Business Activity,\" presented by P.B. Erick Daniel Soto Trujillo. Subsequently, at 3:30 p.m., Prof. Brenda Valdez Abril presented the lecture \"Intellectual Property Protection in Audiovisual Productions.\" The cycle ended at 5:00 p.m. with the panel \"From Natural Person to Legal Entity: Strategies in the Creative Industry,\" guided by the mentor, Dr. and P.B. Sergio Manuel Murillo Oliva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
