Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico \u2014 The premiere of the feature film \u201cEntre Actores\u201d will take place next Saturday, May 31st, at the Cineteca Carlos Monsiv\u00e1is of the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT), which has had locations in Baja California and Mexico City, announced Javier Espinoza Medina, the state's Film Commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The screening will bring together the public, media, and members of the film community to celebrate a work that narrates, from an intimate and everyday perspective, the challenges of border youth facing their artistic dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Entre Actores\" tells the story of Rodrigo and Diana, two best friends who share the dream of becoming actors. Diana decides to move to Mexico City to pursue new opportunities, while Rodrigo stays in Tijuana for personal reasons, hiding his true feelings for her. The film addresses themes such as artistic vocation, personal sacrifice, and long-distance love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The film was shot over 16 days in iconic Baja California locations, including the Tijuana\u2019s House of Culture, the Tijuana Cultural Center, El Lugar del Nopal, the Playas boardwalk, the Black Box, and other emblematic spaces that portray the region's urban and cultural identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cast includes Cristobal Dearie, Ale Ya\u00f1ez, Lirio Karina, Andrea Moncayo, Miguel Rodr\u00edguez, Rod Zapi\u00e9n, Gisela Madrigal, and David Eduardo Flores. The production was led by Jos\u00e9 Paredes (CeroBudget), Mickey Brijandez (Brijandez Moving Pictures), VCB Films (Alfredo Viramontes, Jes\u00fas D\u00edaz, Luis Orozco Bedolla, Abril Ju\u00e1rez), Quetzal Films (Irving L\u00f3pez B\u00e1ez, Iv\u00e1n G\u00f3mez), and Isaac Brown (Brown Casting), with sound by Fulvio Cortez and photography by Iv\u00e1n G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
