In her message to the Baja California sector and society, \u00c1vila pointed out that the entity has highly talented creatives, who have been supported by the Directorate of Creative Industries of the Government of the State of Baja California, a unique national institution headed by Abelardo V\u00e1zquez Ramos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The head of the State Executive Power maintained that the entity, due to its diversity of climates and scenarios, continues to be an ideal space for film productions, so it will be sought that this activity be reinforced in Baja California since it shows the image of the entity in throughout the country and the world, being also an economic activity that represents well-being for thousands of families. \u201cIt is an extremely kind industry because it is reflected in an economic flow that does not translate into taxes, it is not a burden for the citizens, it is quite the opposite, it is an income for the pockets since it translates into many services such as the hotel industry, the gastronomy, personnel transportation, among others,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For her part, the general director of CANACINE, T\u00e1bata Vilar Villa, commented that in CANACINE there are companies specialized in the production, distribution and exhibition of cinema, which carry out very specific activities so that said industry continues to strengthen itself in the country. Mexico is the fourth country with the most movie theaters in the world, we are the fourth country that sells the most movie tickets in the world and we are among the top ten production countries, we are a very important force in terms of production,\u201d she added.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that Baja California has 135 audiovisual projects registered with the Baja California Film Commission, including short films, feature films, TV\/web series and student projects, resulting in a reported economic benefit of 12 million dollars and generating two thousand jobs in 2022 as reported by Kurt Honold Morales, Secretary of Economy and Innovation.
