{"id":4693,"date":"2022-11-03T14:57:40","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T21:57:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bajafilmcommission.com\/?p=4693"},"modified":"2022-12-26T16:30:25","modified_gmt":"2022-12-27T00:30:25","slug":"presente-ibero-tijuana-en-emergente-bc-mostrando-talento-audiovisual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bajafilmcommission.com\/en\/presente-ibero-tijuana-en-emergente-bc-mostrando-talento-audiovisual\/","title":{"rendered":"IBERO TIJUANA PRESENTS AT \u201cEMERGENTE BC\u201d SHOWING AUDIOVISUAL TALENT"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>9 short films by eight female directors and four male directors were screened<\/li><li>The next edition of EMERGENTE BC will be with CETYS University<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.- As part of the effort of the State Government to project the talent of creative industries, the EMERGENTE BC session was held with the students of the Bachelor of Communication of the Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Tijuana, in the Cineteca Carlos Monsiv\u00e1is of the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT), with nine short films made in a period from 2017 to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported by the Baja Film Commissioner of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI), Javier Espinoza, the works presented were \u201cAmatista\u201d (2020) directed by Nuria Garc\u00eda, \u201cGastrom\u00fasica\u201d (2018) by Melina Veytia, \u201cLeonor \u201d (2017) by Carlo Omar S\u00e1nchez, \u201cLo Que Dios ha unido que no lo separe el hombre\u201d (2016) by Ana Luz Duarte and Paola Saracho, \u201cNosotras\u201d (2020) by Jessica Mart\u00ednez, \u201cSolo un Juego\u201d (2020 ) by Alejandro Sol\u00eds, \u201cSplatter\u201d (2020) by Andoni Haza and Alejandro Sol\u00eds, \u201cThe Edge of Quaranteen\u201d (2022) by Carolina de la Rocha and Jimena Reyes Herrera, and \u201cUn Periodista en M\u00e9xico\u201d (2022) by Dayana Diener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIBERO was one of the first schools to agree to participate in this program during its first season and the fact that they return for the second, within the framework of its 40th anniversary, makes it especially relevant,\u201d commented the commissioner who is part of the Directorate of Industries Creative.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After the exhibition, a q&amp;a session was held with five female directors present and the public was invited to the next session of EMERGENTE BC, which will be with the students of Engineering in Digital Graphic Design of CETYS University on November 22, at 6:00 p.m. at Cineteca Tijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding his experience in the program of the State Cinematography Commission, Juan Manuel \u00c1valos Gonz\u00e1lez, coordinator of the Bachelor of Communication at IBERO, mentioned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe experience has been very good, it is a very valuable opportunity for students to project their work in an unbeatable space such as the Carlos Monsiv\u00e1is Film Library. In addition, our student community has been strengthened by the meeting with graduates, where the projection of the most experimental pieces in the lobby was key.
