Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.- The session scheduled for the month of June of the EMERGENTE BC cycle was held with the participation of Multimedia Engineering students from CESUN University, in the Carlos Monsiv\u00e1is Room of the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). This was reported by the director of Creative Industries of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI), Abelardo V\u00e1zquez Ramos. After the exhibition, the directors present had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the audience in the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The titles included were \u201cSneeze Like a Vampire\u201d and \u201cLa Ni\u00f1a Que No Le Miedo a los Monstruos\u201d, both by Ivanna Escoto, who also co-directed the music video \u201cBye Cinthya\u201d with Iv\u00e1n Lerma, who in turn presented \"Zero\". Also on display were \u201cComunisius\u201d, by Abraham Morales; the series \u201cNo Tenemos Mucho Tiempo\u201d, by Desvelados Crew, and the documentary \u201cJaime Mungu\u00eda: La Historia de sus Victorias\u201d, by Gabriel Acosta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EMERGENTE BC is a program created by the Baja California Film Commission for the exhibition of short films made by university students that include careers related to audiovisual production, as expressed by Javier Espinoza, the film commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"EMERGENTE is the ideal forum for filmmaker-training universities to share their new talents,\" commented the coordinator of CESUN's Multimedia Engineering, Carlos Vidrio, who explained that this career trains communication professionals with the skills to master the four stages of multimedia: still image, video, audio and video games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
