The film had locations in Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada, as indicated by the Secretary of Economy and Innovation, Kurt Honold Morales, however, it began in San Diego, California and continued to San Jos\u00e9 del Cabo in Baja California Sur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plot of the film is about Rosalinda (Guerra) who suffers from senile dementia, and taking advantage of a long period of lucidity, she organizes a family dinner where she asks her three daughters, with whom she has always had a very bad relationship, to help her spend his last days before living in oblivion and madness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After traveling several kilometers, they begin to meet their mother, who thinks is 26 years old and is on a trip with her best friends. The cast is also made up of Diana Bovio, Ana Valeria Becerril, Ximena Sari\u00f1ana, Antonio Gaona and Mau Nieto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported by the Baja California Film Commission, the cast was in the state for 12 days in various locations including some streets of Tijuana, the Transpeninsular Highway, Puerto Nuevo, La Misi\u00f3n Beach, Saldamando Beach, the Wine Route, Finca Altozano and Three Vines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film is directed by Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Ch\u00e1vez, who was nominated for the Ariel Award for his first film \u201cAy\u00fadame a Pasar la Noche\u201d (2017). The producers are Ale Garc\u00eda and Antonio Urdapilleta, and the location manager is Esteban L\u00f3pez, the producing team behind \u201cDespu\u00e9s de Ti\u201d (2021) and \u201cEsto No Es Berl\u00edn\u201d (2019), which participated in the Sundance and Tribeca festivals, in addition to having its Mexican premiere at the Morelia Festival (FICM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film \"Qu\u00e9 Hacemos con Mam\u00e1\" will have a post-production that will last approximately eight months, prior to its premiere in movie theaters and streaming channels. About the film, the director Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Ch\u00e1vez commented: \"It is a beautiful project with a story so common that it reaches us all, because in one way or another we have all gone through the same story with our parents and siblings.\" <em>streaming<\/em>.
