Gamez from Tijuana received two mentions for Best Film.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.- December 20, 2021.- Feature films produced in Baja California premiered at various festivals worldwide in 2021. \u201cLos Fundadores\u201d, filmed in Tijuana by director Diego Hern\u00e1ndez and produced by Melissa Casta\u00f1eda, received the Silver Puma at the UNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM) and the Premier Film Competition Award at the Marseille International Film Festival (FID) held in France. It was also exhibited at the Black Canvas Contemporary Film Festival, FotoFilm Tijuana, Cinematographic Analysis Forum (FACINE), the Ecuadorian event C\u00e1mara L\u00facida International Contemporary Film Festival and the Zinebi International Film Festival in Bilbao, Spain, where it was awarded the Youth Jury Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTraves\u00edas\u201d, another production by Casta\u00f1eda that had locations in Tijuana and San Diego, California, United States, and directed by Sergio Flores Thorija, was part of the official competition for Best Mexican Feature Film at the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). The documentary \u201cDesde Las Cuerdas\u201d by Omar Mill\u00e1n and Mario Genel, on the career of boxing coach R\u00f3mulo Quirarte, competed at the Montreal Independent Film Festival in Canada. Rodrigo \u00c1lvarez Flores' debut feature entitled \u201cSoy Lo Que Nunca Fui\u201d, made with resources from the International University of the Californias (UDCI) and the Fund for Quality Film Production (FOPROCINE) (the first in Baja California with this support for film schools) debuted at Ventana Sur held in Argentina as part of the Primer Corte section where he received the Sof\u00eda Award for post-production support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTijuana, I Love You\u201d, the fourth feature film by Ren\u00e9 Bueno from Ensenada, with a script inspired by the seven deadly sins, participated in film events in Canada, Spain, England, Mexico and Moldova. \"Salto a la Vida\" by the Tijuana director Ra\u00fal P.
